And what about discovering our region this summer!

Created on the local powers of the communes of Braives initiative, Burdinne, Héron and Wanze, the “House of Tourism of the valleys of the Burdinale and the Mehaigne” is fixed up in the farmhouse of the
Big
Tower
in Burdinne.
Proud of its environment, the land of Burdinale-Mehaigne is a region of the green Hesbaye, rural, and since a long time auspicious to walks.
Far away from the big cities, our entities benefit each of them from a long historical past.
Wanze, with the Feudal Castle of Moha, its prestigious residences, the “Val Notre-Dame”… All these elements remind us of the strategic aspect of the place. It also edges a prestigious river, the
Meuse
. Concerning the culture, the great artist Paul Delvaux was born there.
Héron, is not left behind, and in order to demonstrate it better, suggests you to discover the farm of the Blocus, the
Castle
of
Marsinne
, the Farm of Boingt, its chapels and little “altars” spread along its numerous rural paths. The
village
of
Lavoir
only wants to be admired. It appears on the list of the most remarkable villages of
Wallonia
. Its Chapel Saint-Hubert is known by a lot of drivers because they use it as a privileged visual landmark.
Burdinne, for its part, offers a calm worthy of the past centuries. Its square, its atmosphere, its landscapes, its bucolic valley of the Burdinale present a delightful setting that is envied by so much of its close neighbours. In order to convince you, look at all these “cyclist-tourists” that appreciate, during the sunny week-ends walking on our mountain biker and bicycle circuits.
Yes, our region is beautiful!
And what about Braives… with a so distant past. See, in spring, snaking the Mehaigne through meadows in flower is pleasing to the eye. Its mills, its ancient Court of Justice recently refurbished, the
Castle
of
Fallais
, the ancient Roman road that linked Bavay to
Cologne
, were already the greatest assets of our villages at the time. Today, the “Traversine” takes over and allow the ramblers to discover our landscapes in a different way.
Come to discover our walks-circuits, as well as our various activities in the Farmhouse of the
Big
Tower
in Burdinne.

Our offices are open 7 days a week.
