GENERAL REMARKS
The valleys of the Burdinale and the Mehaigne suggest 18 different walks, 4 mountain-bike and 2 bike circuits all marked out.

The walks have varied landscapes, flat or hilly and cover multiple distances: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 22km.
Two marked out connections link the circuits of Braives and the one that starts at the «
Other connections and short-cuts are possible with a map of the walks.
The mountain-bike tours of 18, 30, 37 and 42km; as well as the bike tours of 30 and 60km are also available in free road book size.
A plastic wallet with brochures of the circuits is planned for April 2008.

La promenade des Chevreuils
The marker to follow is a green lozenge completed by the denomination BR01.
Walk 9km through the villages of Huccorgne, Fumal and Marneffe.
Start: « route de l’Etat » in Huccorgne, in the car park behind the bus stop, before the little bridge.
You start off in the direction of « rue Famelette », and at the top of the street you go into the woods. This walk allows us to discover the Mehaigne river bed, its fauna and flora. In the

La promenade des Martins-Pêcheurs
The marker to follow is an orange lozenge completed by the denomination BR02.
Walk 10km.
Start : « rue de Brivioules » in Braives at the football field.
You start off in the direction of the fields where you will discover the different farming methods of the region. You continue along a sunken lane and arrive in Ville-en-Hesbaye. The walk takes you through typical small rural streets, continuing you arrive at a zone called « Natura 2000 » which is a protected area. Further on, you arrive at the « Moulin de Vélupont » from where you can see the paddle wheel. The walk ends in a wooded area.

La promenade Hubert Krains
The marker to follow is a blue rectangle with a white vertical rectangle in its centre and completed by the denomination BR03.
Walk 8km.
Start : « rue du Calvaire » in Fallais at the car park next to the little « altar »
You go towards the fields which leads us to «rue du Chardon». Lower down the hill you will see the water-mill of Fallais. At the end of the street, go to the small bridge and go along to the «Château de Faillais » and at the little « altar » branch off into the woods to discover the «Point du Jour» (point of the day). Go down into Pitet and along to the plant garden and the «Charmille» (tunnel of love). Beyond, you enter into the wet zone of Fallais and arrive back at our starting point.
